What about the option "Both will be average"?

I just have that feeling that a QB drafted much later than those guys is the one who will be awesome.

Ding ding ding. Smart, well run nfl teams trade down. That #1 pick is always much more valuable as a trade to some dumb team. You can get offensive linemen AND a QB with it.

The rams trading up for the #1 pick tells me they are going to be terrible for a long time.
 
I think that #1 pick is just for media hype and to sell seats and jerseys to help smooth over the move and make an image for the team in a new city.

It didn't seem to work out very well for them when they went the other way, trading down with Washington over RGIII.
 
Still LMAO about Couch going before McNabb. I think Dante Culpepper was also in that draft and even he was much better than Couch.
