Aww they didn't give him a typewriter and no lawyer would take his case because it's ridiculous? You know you have to have a pretty shitty case for lawyers not to take your case. I like how Matlock says "lawyer". With his accent it sounds like he's saying liar. I wonder if that's the etymology of the word.
 
If it gets to court, and if i'm on the jury, that fellow is going to go home with a hundred billion dollars. Maybe two hundred billion.

My brother was in San Diego with our niece, who grew up there. In a group conversation, he properly pronounced "law-yer" in front of her. She started laughing uncontrollably and asked him to say it again; so he did. She laughed hysterically again. Then she told him it's supposed to be pronounced "loyyer." 🙄
 
Love the dollar amount he came up with and love even more naming one of the plaintiffs as people from the "sovereign republic of Texas". lol
 
The lawsuit will be laughed at and thrown out of court.

They should charge this idiot for wasting their time.

I know law-yer has become an acceptable pronunciation, but the above, pronounced much like your female acquaintence said it, was at first the only accepted pronunciation and is still preferred.
