Going for Pats, but think they will be upset by either the Colts or SD.

Sandy Eggo doesn't even stand a chance against Indy. :p

Quoted for posterity.

The Patriots defensive line is a lot bigger & stronger then the Colts so SD won't be able to wear them down, also the secondary is better & they should be able to get at least some pressure on Rivers.

In addition Brady isn't likely to make the same kind of sloppy mistakes we saw Peyton make today, the huge NE coaching advantage & the injured starters for SD & I don't see how they have a chance to win.

Patriots: 41
Chargers: 17

The colts were pretty much the only team in the afc (and probably the nfl) who had much of a chance against NE.
Patriots: 38
Chargers: 17

The Chargers match up well against the Colts (Just like the Colts match up well against the Pats) so I wasn't too surprised in the Chargers winning, but I don't like how the Chargers match up against the Patriots.

Patriots 42
Chargers 17

Maybe next year!!!

Still in shock how 2nd string players could beat Indy.

With Rivers, LT and Gate injured, the score will be worse than it was earlier in the year.

Pats 42-10

If LT and Rivers are back next week, which I wouldn't doubt they'd play over their injuries, I think they have a chance at winning, but it'll be close.

Go Chargers!!!

Everything seems to be lined up for the patriots to go 19-0. As a Pats fan, Indy worries me a lot more than San Diego. Not to mention how the physical play in the Indy/Chargers game really beat up on the Chargers even though they were able to win. Hats off to the Chargers for showing a lot of heart in not folding and getting it done but I just don't see how physically beat up Chargers team can beat an experienced/veteran Patriots team. LT, Rivers, and Gates will have to be at 100% for the Chargers to have a chance and I just don't see them all getting to 100% before next weekend.

As much as I hate bravado before the game, I have a hard time disagreeing with this. I don't think of the Chargers as a match for the Patriots when healthy - they don't stand a chance this beat up. The Pats have been hurting people all year long while miraculously avoiding injuries almost entirely. I think SD is just gonna get ground into that much more hamburger for 18-0 in Foxborough.

Although, I have to say I love when the camera zooms in on Seau's face in his helmet, shouting at the D-Line like the veteran general he is. Seems so...right.

I think it's time Seau gets a ring.

You can't just change this topic title because the Colts lost.

That's weak...really weak.

What are you talking about. Thread was originally titled, "Patriots vs Chargers/Colts", since it was created after NE beat JAX and prior to the Chargers/Colts game.

Wow, I'm a Chargers fan and I didn't expect them to win against the Colts, especially without LT or Gates tearing up the field. Now I almost wished they lost so that the Colts could have a chance at beating the Pats. Oh well, at least the Chargers got two wins in the playoffs.

This game is going to make me feel really filthy stinking dirty. I dislike Rivers so much I might actually <gasp, sob> find myself rooting for the Patriots!

I'm so ashamed.
