In a large way, it is lol.

Still kinda crazy considering his 66% win rate. Although I kind of understand the firing (never meeting lofty expectations*), a lot of people had insisted that Bills ownership would not do McDermott like this. Turns out they are no different from other NFL owners. :p
Season ticket holders complain about price increase.

I've been to live games for all four major sports in the US and football is easily the least interesting live even though it's by far my favorite on TV. There's a lot of energy, but the game itself isn't all that fun to watch in person unless you're really close to where the ball is. NHL? Amazing in person.

So you're saying the Pegulas aren't different from other billionaire owners? ;)

Best part is that it cost taxpayers only $850M of public money in building the New Highmark Stadium!
/s

With the State of New York also paying for all maintenance and repair costs once the stadium opens, it is the largest taxpayer contribution ever for an NFL facility. Economics professor Victor Matheson, who studies stadium subsidies, described the deal as "one of the worst stadium deals in recent memory."

If there was no tailgating at an NFL game, I would basically never go to one. That is the best part of the day by far. But being in the stadium and cheering with everyone is a great time as well, and I actually prefer sitting up higher at the game so you can see the plays develop and see the wide open guys getting wide open and scream at the QB to throw to them lol.

Still though, watching the game on TV is far superior than at the stadium.

I also agree about hockey. Hockey is the best live sport to me. I love the sounds of the the game in person that you don't really get on TV, and it just seems so much faster in person as well.

I think they mean just out of NFL coaching years :)
We know, I'm just saying most of these oligarchs are the same.
(Recall that approx 75% of NFL owners vote R in elections. :p )

ESPN thinks the best fits for McDermott are either the Steeler or Ravens. The other teams that need a HC are full rebuilds, so screw that.

I have to agree with that. Baseball can be even worse sometimes.

Cleveland also means you have to work with their shitty ownership too lol Another reason the Steelers & Ravens make more sense. He probably ends up at one of those two, probably Pittsburgh if they offer it to him.

Will have to see if Saleh lands his 2nd chance or is patient enough to wait for a good fit. 49ers needed to win this week to have a better chance of retaining him.

to replace Ben Johnson the Lions are gonna try the Cards offensive Coordinator this year....Cards stunk last year but he had a good running game the other two years...this will work only if they can upgrade their oline

I wouldn't have hated gambling on Saleh to replace McDermott. I hate that Beane was not only kept as GM, but given a promotion. His name should have been the first one on the chopping block.

Sure, and good luck to him. It would just suck to go from coaching Josh Allen to coaching the inept Raiders or Browns.

He broke the Bills' 17-year playoff drought in his first season with the team, without Allen. He completely changed the culture. I honestly think he can do it again wherever he goes. Will he ever get to the Super Bowl? That remains to be seen.

I was rooting for the Bills to make it all the way. It sucks the way they lost that game with the questionable call. Josh Allen did not have a good game either though.
