Yesterday was a huge yawner. I kinda watched over the laptop screen. Last weekend's games were a whole lot more fun to watch.
I predict a Pats-Seahawks rematch of 49.

I was thinking about that exact thing when watching the start of this game. I don't want slippery balls to be so influential on a big game like this.
Houston is done. Too many injuries now and they can't overcome Stroud's turnovers. They are on their third string right tackle, out their two best WR, and many more players knocked out in this game.
comedy of errors all around. Even with QB2, Broncos have to feel like they have a puncher's chance next week at home.
The NFC champs (Seahawks?) will be huge SB favorites. 🤣

Yeah, I mean the Saints don't really have a decent way to practice in the snow, so if they were playing in this, they'd be at a big disadvantage. All domes would take away some of the magic from the game though.

Exactly. It's a catch-22 really. You don't want weather to help determine the outcome of games, but on the other hand, it's an integral part of football's DNA. Right now there are 10 domed stadiums, with multiple on the way. And where it changes things the most is in colder weather cities - the Bears new stadium will be domed. The Bills are not going domed, but with a 65% canopy to cover the fans.

Frankly if it is tax payer funded, owned, and operated in a northern city it should have a dome so it can be used more than just 20 times or less per year.

People in the DMV are completely 50/50 with the news that the new Commanders stadium is going to be dome without retractable roof.
Me personally, I've never even watched a game in a dome before so I can't really comment on it. But I can tell you that I wouldn't go to a late season game strictly due to it being cold. I'd much rather watch it in my basement on my 10ft screen in warmth and not having to spend my entire day at the stadium.
Generally speaking the gameday experience is better at home for NFL, however there is nothing like a tailgate. There won't even be parking lots at the new stadium but will be garages, but I don't know how that will translate to tailgating. Doing it in a garage just won't be the same.
I was too young to remember how it was at the games at RFK but when I went with my dad and uncles we didn't really tailgate anyways. My only real memory of it is going to a game and coming out and my uncle's car was stolen during the game lol cause RFK was in such a shitty area.
