Interesting that the odds for the Bills and Eagles winning has actually gone down since the beginning of the season. Eagles were +650 to begin, now +1000. Bills were +750 now +1000.

On the other end, Rams went from +2100 to +550, 49ers from +1500 to +850.

I do not gamble. My original vote at the beginning of the season was for the Ravens, which obviously didn't pan out. Right now I think the Rams do have a very good shot at winning the Super Bowl.

After Matt Stafford's very rough MNF performance, Drake Maye is now the clear cut MVP favorite. Sleepness nights for zinfamous. :p

Maye -400
Stafford +300

If Niners manage to beat the Seachickens this week CMC should be the MVP. He won't be, but he should be.

Mike Vrabel has his team dialed in.

Parity has been the norm in the NFL for a while now, but this season is incredibly wide open and weird.*
12 days ago, the Rams were the clear favorites. Honestly, right now they are a bad bet at +550. They will be either the 5th or 6th seed in the NFC, and will have to run the table on the road. I don't understand why their odds are still this high after the last 6 quarters (and 2 unexpected losses).** The best argument you can make is that the Rams will be a better team once they get back Davante Adams from injury. They're certainly capable of running the table, but that's always harder than hosting 2 home games after a bye.***

I'd left the Ravens for dead multiple times this season, but they are just one win away from sneaking into the playoffs.

* Who had Drake Maye as NFL MVP, or (potentially) the Broncos or Seahawks as the #1 seed?

** A strange side effect of the Rams loss to the Falcons is that the Bucs no longer control their own destiny in the NFC South. If the Falcons win, the Panthers (win or lose) will be the division champs on tiebreakers.

*** Whoever secures the #1 seed in the NFC should have the shortest SB odds. The AFC is totally wide open, and it's anybody's guess who will emerge.

Avg'ing 3.9 yds/rush. Wanna try again?

Over 2000 yards from scrimmage. The Niners would be a sub .500 team without him this season, yet they could be #1 seed with a win.
Yes, he has a very strong argument to be an MVP award finalist. Unfortunately, we all know the award has basically devolved into the Best QB on one of the few best teams award. Unless he lays an egg in the season finale, 2nd year pro Drake Maye is going to win. 🤯

As for RBs who deserved MVP consideration, I believe a stronger case could be made for CMC in 2023 or Saquon Barkley a year ago.
Again, averaging 3.9 yards per carry doesn't seem like a sure-fire league-wide MVP. (I realize roughly half his value is as a receiver.)

Even if a QB almost always wins AP MVP, it would still be nice to see a non-QB win it at least once every dozen years. Unfortunately as pass happy as the NFL has become, it would take a very extreme set of circumstances for any non-QB to win.

Let's watch the Giants fuck up getting the 2nd pick in the draft tomorrow. And sounds like Mara is keeping Joe Schoen as GM. Mara fucking sucks as an owner and he and his kid need to get the fuck out of running anything.

Niners are playing tonight, so yea I'm gonna pass on this deal.
Seahawks -2.5 on the road 🤔 (Understandable, but seems a little disrespectful to the 12-4 49ers.)

Wow, both teams are riding a 6 game winning streak.

Even ESPN is giving the Seahawks a slight edge. Everyone thinks the Niners defensive injuries are going to end them apparently. We shall see.

51/49 is reasonable because on paper, the Seahawks are the best team in the NFL. Of course, the games aren't played on paper. ;)

The Seahawks might have the best defense in the league. The 49ers can't say the same.

Trent Williams didn't practice this week. He's no doubt out. Damnit.

Will Darnold choke like last year? I'm rooting for him to have a good game and put that behind him.

Announcers are unhappy with the refs in this Panthers/Bucs game. I haven't watch much football this year, but the officiating hasn't been stellar.

Pleasant did fine in his place. The front 3 are finally gelling at the right time. The Seattle D is one of the best in the league no doubt but Purdy and the Niners offense is peaking at the right time.

The Niners defense was just good enough to limit a Chicago offense that is much better than the Seattle offense. Darnold is good if the first read is there but struggles when it isn't there. Hopefully Saleh can take advantage of that.

Barring a significant loss in the turnover battle I think the Niners score over 30 while holding Seattle to less than 30. Maybe less than 20 but that might be pushing it.
