Bills aren't even leading their division, but they lead in SB odds. 😛 Updated:

Bills +600
Chiefs +650
Lions +750
Packers +800
Eagles +1000

I saw this and was wondering how Fox is complicit in this incident? I know attorneys just like to sue everyone under the sun who may be held responsible but this seems like a stretch. I guess Fox will just pay to get rid of it so I guess it's a win.
owned by Rupert Murdoch. Fuck 'em.

How would you all feel about eliminating defensive time outs before field goal kicks? Really slows the flow of the game.
Statistically, icing the kicker doesn't work.*
Except when it does. On Sunday, Bengals kicker made a 67yd FG, but the timeout had already been called. Would have been a new NFL record, but he then missed on the real attempt.

* Pro kickers are too good. I imagine the pressure tactic works against collegians.

These kickers are taking hits of smelling salts before going onto the field. They are so dialed in that a timeout isn't going to do much.

The 67 yd kick barely went in the first time and I don't think that the timeout had any impact on the kicker not making it a second time.

All of the timeouts before kicks makes it feel like the last 30 seconds of an NBA game where teams are just fouling like crazy. Really disrupts any kind of game flow.

Except the NBA variant is much, much worse.
In a 3 hour NFL game, I'm not going to regret the 40 seconds lost to an extra timeout.
I was being facetious that the Packers TO actually worked on Sunday; there is little statistical evidence that it works on pro kickers. In fact, you'll notice that most FG units use that timeout as a practice kick LOL. Because they never get penalized for that.

It's an end of game tactic. Besides forcing overtime, how does that ever affect game flow?

The Jets and the Buffalo Sabres are co-holders of the longest active playoff drought in the big 4 sports. They are now a combined 0-9.

When I moved to New York I decided that the Giants would be my #2 NFC team after the Saints - It wasn't much of an adjustment.

Badgers are down 34 points to 160 points over the past five games and 0 - 71 in the past two. They might suck. 🙁
