All my buddies who are Ravens fans have wanted him gone for like 2 years now. They will be happy about this.

I guess they know much more being fans. The average observer is definitely surprised.

As an outsider, I'm kind of surprised. I'm sort of pleased...I dislike both the "Hairball Brothers." They whine and complain and accuse the other team of playing dirty every play.

God the giant subreddit is like salivating over him just because he's a big name. He's past his prime and he underperformed with the talent he's had, his CEO style of coaching is not the right fit for the Giants.

Honestly, as a Bills fan, I kinda want them to take him. It won't happen, but I don't think the Bills coaching staff is good. A lot of the big losses can be blamed on the coaches.

Anyways, photo from the last game at the current Bills stadium. Bills practice squad was absolutely dominate, but I think it says more about the Jets. Mother-in-law's new season tickets are at the 45yd line, she prefers aisle seats and the 50yd line is in the middle of a section at the new stadium.

TOTAL BULLSHIT
Let them have him. They'll be easier to beat. He wasn't a great HC when he was with the Jests. (20/36)

This is my experience as well (but I speak from a grand total of 1 fan, heh).

If the Steelers have another 1st round exit, the Steelers, Browns, and Ravens should swap coaches. Probably a dumb idea, but one that amuses me.

When it was called Rich Stadium I saw the Stones there in ’75, Superfest in ‘77, and had Led Zeppelin tix that year but they cancelled because Plant’s kid died.

Yeah the general consensus is that they basically have been stale with Harbaugh for a very long time and nothing is changing. They basically are just ready for a change at this point, and I don't blame em. It's pretty shocking that Tomlin has been around so long as well and hasn't had a playoff win in nearly 10 years.

Outsiders may be surprised, but there was talk going into SNF that both teams could have a different HC next season. The Steelers wouldn't fire Tomlin under any circumstance, but he could have willingly left was the rumor.

As it turned out, the missed FG at the end cost Harb's job.

Apples and oranges. Tomlin has never had a losing season, and he hasn't had any strong teams to work with in recent seasons. The Ravens were considered top contenders this preseason, so missing the playoffs had to be infuriating for management. I don't know if it's Harbaugh's fault, but it's striking he won a SB with Joe Flacco but has had meager results with 2-time MVP Lamar Jackson.

In the end, the owner felt Harbaugh had "lost the locker room," per SI reporting. They seemed pretty banged up this season, so I wouldn't pin this all on Harbaugh.* One factor that nobody is mentioning is there continues to be a changing of the guard in the NFL. The elite (but old) HCs of the past are all gone, except Andy Reid. What started with the Rams Sean McVay has accelerated with the instant success of Mike McDonald and now Ben Johnson.

Having said that, if Harbaugh wants to be a HC, he will get hired immediately for one of the openings. But as we saw with Pete Carroll, the leash is pretty short these days.

* As much as people respect Jackson, I'm not convinced you can make a deep run with him. Based on his playoff record.

Meh multiple of "Jacksons" playoff losses (i put that in quotes cause it's really stupid to put a loss on a QB, but I know it happens) were because other people dropped the damn ball.

I mean "Jackson" would have taken them to the playoffs this year if the kicker made a kick he makes 10/10 times in other circumstances.

I also don't care if Tomlin hasn't had a losing season. That doesn't really mean much when he hasn't won a playoff game in nearly a decade. The goal isn't to have a winning season - it's to get into the dance and win a Super Bowl.

Generally speaking though, I think WAY too much emphasis is put on the coaches in general in the NFL. No coach is going to have success without good players. I mean look at Belechick after Brady left. Let's see if Andy Reid is around after Mahomes is gone and see how well the Chiefs do without Mahomes.

I've been hearing the crying about Kingsbury leaving here and it's annoying. He would NOT have had the success he had last year if Jayden Daniels was not running point. He was the reason they made it to the NFC Championship, not Kingsbury.

And we saw what happened to the offense this year when JD5 wasn't in there but Kingsbury was still running things. They were bottom of the barrel and even got shut out, which is nearly impossible to do in today's NFL.

I really hope he sticks around. 9ers should do everything they can to keep him around on a long term deal. He really wasn't good as a HC, even if it was on the Jets.

Former NFL star Matt Kalil is suing his ex-wife after she compared his genitals to “two Coke cans, maybe even a third.”

The pair divorced in 2022, with ex-wife Haley making the comments on a livestream in November 2025. She told YouTuber Marlon that she believed just “0.01 percent” of men struggled with the same alleged issue as her former husband.

Plus, the coaches (and sometimes the GM) get the blame...when it's the team owner who pulls the strings that makes a team suck. Jerry Jones and Al/Mark Davis, just to mention a couple.

Was just reading about harbaugh and if he does get the Giants job, that will likely mean kicking out our current GM. Now I could get down with that. Warming up to a harbaugh head coach if he can get us a good GM.
