Woody Johnson sucks. He needs to give up control like Jed York did.

"This is probably the best team I've had in 25 years," Johnson said on a conference call with reporters. "I just felt that the best way to go forward was a new direction. Taking Jeff Ulbrich and making him the interim head coach, I thought that would get the most out of this team and give us the best chance that we all want to have, which is going to the playoffs."

LMAO

Teams tend to overperform right after a coaching change, and their next opponent is the Bills on Monday night. Hmm.

On a side note, all of the major sports leagues have multiple instances of a head coach/manager change midseason leading to a championship that same season...except the NFL. No replacement coach has ever won the Super Bowl, though the 1961 Houston Oilers won the AFL championship after swapping head coaches.

Is it too early for a must win game for the Niners tonight? Team has been decimated by injuries on both sides of the ball, division game and Seattle is at the top of the division. I think Niners have to win this game for any hope at the post season.

I think it's a must win game. They can't go 0-4 in the division. That'd be just crazy lol. But I'm definitely not confident in them right now, especially playing in Sea. Our D needs to step up. Walker and Geno are playing really well right now, and we can't stop the run and don't handle mobile QBs well. And we can't get shutout on offense in the 2nd half either. That was atrocious last week. Although Mason did fumble in the red zone.

The Ravens/Commanders game is getting so much hype, locally at least. It's going to be a crazy atmosphere. We are heading up there at 8:15am and should be parked and tailgating at 9am.

This is probably the most excited I've ever been to go to a Washington game ever, and the funny part is, it kind of is meaningless in the grand scheme of things record wise. There is no rivalry between the Ravens and Commanders, but there is definitely some kind of DC/Baltimore rivalry, generally speaking. The battle of the beltways.

Yeah NBC tried to flex that game to SNF but CBS said nope and protected it. Even CBS knows the 1pm time slot is going to have a ton of eyes on that game to watch those 2 QBs battle it out.

I don't follow the Niners much but they could easily be 4-1, without CMC playing a single snap.
But you're probably right, 0-4 in the division sounds like a death knell.
They're also lucky to be in a very winnable division.

Gunna piss away another lead. I felt like after that fumble recovery, if they settled for a FG they would end up losing the game.

Was at the Ravens/Commanders game yesterday and the environment was a ton of fun. I'd say it was like 75/25 Ravens/Commanders as far as the fans go. The tailgate felt close to that and was a blast as well.

I'm disappointed Commanders lost but they only lost by 7 to a potential Super Bowl team at their home field, and they were never really out of the game. The offense looked decent but the D couldn't stop anything, and I mean it's not easy to stop Henry and Lamar.

In the grand scheme of things it's not a huge loss at all and was a good test and they hung with them, so I am okay with it. I mean they are still 4-2 just as the Ravens are, and they have a pretty easy schedule coming up so we'll see if they can get some more W's over this next stretch.

So awesome to see Dem Boyzzz lose like that haha. But man, I had Dak on my fantasy and he dropped a turd. I was hoping for a shootout similar to the TB vs. NO game but no, Dallas had to #$%^ the bed. I had some hopes for garbage time points in the 4th quarter but they benched Dak lol

It's an awesome feeling you get when you see that your team is finally competing and you've got players who can be stars contributing to making the team better. Losing that close of a game to the Ravens who can be a juggernaut team is awesome. We don't get to see a whole lot of Commanders games on the west coast and I wasn't able to watch yesterday's game because we were visiting my parents, but looking forward to seeing how well you guys play moving forward.

The Bills and Jets each had 10+ penalties and two missed kicks. The last time that happened in an NFL game was with replacement players during the 1987 strike.

The wind clearly had an affect on the kicking game.

And the penalties were out of control. The roughing the passer call against the Bills was such a lame call. Yah whatever it's the new rule, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a dumb ass rule/call.

I was asking wtf with the kicking as well, until I saw one of the ref's pants blow up like a balloon and was like oh, its fucking wimdy down there. The flags were out of control, a lot of tic-tacky flags on both teams could have been ignored.
