Read that with 1 more loss this season that Kyle Shanahan will join Bart Star,Gus Bradly and John McKay as the only coaches with 10+ loss seasons with the same team
also this was quite funny

Despite (or because of?) infamously parting with Jimmy Johnson, Jerruh is often loathe/slow to dismiss his HCs.
Does Mike McCarthy have some kind of dirt on the Jones family or something?
I never said he SHOULD be the MVP, I said you could make an argument that he should be in the discussion for it because of how valuable he has been for the franchise and turned it around so quickly. And it's basically with the same exact talent that was on the team last year on offense, with the exception of Ertz. It's basically McLaurin and a bunch of journey men.Slow your fucking roll lol. Daniels has been one of the best QBs in the league, as a rookie. That alone is impressive as hell.
Has he been "more valuable" than Allen, Jackson or even Saquon Barkley? Heck, Joe Burrow has been fantastic but his team's record sucks. (I get that if you replaced Barkley with an above average RB, the Eagles record only dips by a win or maybe two. So it's rare for a non-QB to win the MVP.)
Obviously if you removed Allen, Jackson or Burrow for their teams (as for any stud QB), that team is fucked. No different with Daniels.
Honestly this MVP race should be a nail-biter between Allen and Jackson; they are both that good (look at Jackson's stats). But team record is the most important "stat" to the voters, so Allen is a lock.*
I will caution that last season, everyone was raving about CJ Stroud but he hit a sophomore slump this year. I'm not saying the same happens to Daniels, but year 1 has exceeded all expectations.
* Let's not forget Sam Darnold. 🤯

Yah and depending how/who the Lions play tonight since the game is basically meaningless, there are some fantasy championship games that could be completely fucked lol!Next Sunday Night game looks amazing on paper. Definitely really looking forward to watching that.
Not enough people talk about Bowers. Insane numbers for a rookie tight end. Broke the receiving yards record by a rookie TE and broke the reception record by any rookie.Yea I think Jayden edges Bowers by a bit for ROTY honors.
Rich Eisen
I really like listening to his takes for that reason. He is pretty level headed.Rich Eisen is like the anti Stephen A Smith (and sports commenters/analysts in general). He doesn't get too caught up in hype/controversy, stays levelheaded, and is quick to admit his mistakes.
You're right, it's astounding he's done this as a rookie.I never said he SHOULD be the MVP, I said you could make an argument that he should be in the discussion for it because of how valuable he has been for the franchise and turned it around so quickly. Yes I get what you are saying about the other QB's being removed and the teams are probably fucked - but did they turn the teams around as quickly their rookie year? That is where I am saying his "value" is - that he did it so quickly, on top of the record breaking season he's having, as that rookie.
And yes, it's obvious I'm a complete homer. But I can also have rational discussions about this lol.
Dan Quinn would like to have a word with you! You're right, it's astounding he's done this as a rookie.
But the "value" you assign to Daniels is true for all stud QBs having a great season. He deserves some MVP votes, no doubt, but there's no strong argument to be made that he's top 3. That's okay though, you're hoping he gets there during his career. I'll concede you watch the games, so you have a much better pulse on the team than I ever could.
The Vikings were picked to be last in the NFC North*; if they win next week they're the #1 seed. Since Sam Darnold was just a journeyman QB, he should vault into the MVP top 3 if the Vikings pull that off next week. An argument could be made. 😛 And like Baker Mayfield before him, now he's gonna get a big contract.
Vikes HC Kevin O'Connell has to be a lock for CoTY (heck, I had to look up his last name LOL).
* Speaking of Daniels, remember all the draft hype over Caleb Williams? Everyone gave the Bears a draft grade of A or A+. Not Williams fault he was drafted by the Bears, but still.
