Okay, so I couldn't find anything like this by googling so I thought I'd see if it was a quick task. So two three hour nights later, I present...........

The HeroOfPellinor NFL Prediction Generator

Not content with just spitballing statistics, I've laid out the entire schedule for this year. So you don't have to know the strength of schedule for each team because you choose a winner for each matchup. The home team is the default.

After choosing the winners for each matchup for the whole year, you submit the form and are presented with the final standings broken out by division according to your selections. Only tie breaker currently included is division record. Below will be the first round of the playoffs also according to your selections. You choose the first round winners from the dropdown and submit the form again.

The next page has the second round playoff matchups generated from your first round selections. You will also use radio buttons to choose a conference and super bowl champion. Upon submitting this form, your answers are inserted into a database and the entire playoff results according to you are presented. The page includes a date and time stamp and is bookmarkable.

I don't know, maybe five minutes to do the whole thing. Plenty ugly, so if anybody with design skills wants to send me the files for prettier pages, feel free. If anybody actually ends up using it, I'll add a live comparison to actual results once the season starts and we'll come up with some kind of a points system and rank all users according to the accuracy of their predictions.

So try it out. Should be bug free. When you're done, post the URL to your predictions.

Also, feel free to post suggestions for modifications or additions.

Also, since this is Cold Fusion based, dynamic charts and graphs will be available for group rankings down the road. And when/if a better design comes along, your personal url page will be automatically updated to the newer, nicer design.

Added grouping. So if anybody wants to use this at work or with their fantasy football league, just make sure you all put in the same exact group name and you'll see each other listed on the final bookmarkable page.

With a little more interest in it I'll add graphs for each group showing who has been the most accurate compared to the actual results. In the meantime, I'll come up with a scoring system and begin reporting the actual results on your predictions page so you can see how you're doing.

I guess I kinda think the patriots are gonna dominate. :(

Not a bad guess. Oh and the list on the right filters out the username "username" because it's the default. I can change it for you.

And, whenever anybody else here does it, put atot in the group field. I'll move everybody who's name I recognize anyway.
