GO EAGLES!

He is a running back playing quarterback. Nothing more nothing less.

at least he doesn't just close his eyes and heave it! LOL
E-A-G-L-E-S GO EAGLES!!!!

The Packer coach should be given the MVP trophy, without his great? decision calling Philly couldn't have won. It should have never went to overtime.

Keep telling yourself that. Oh yeah, the dream you had that Priest Holmes/Ricky Williams/Jamal Lewis (insert your fav RB here) threw a perfectly placed bullet to Mitchell on 4th and 26 for a 1st down was true!

Yes, I agree not going for it on 4th and 1 after being stuffed at the goal line earlier in the game 4 downs in a row (with 4 yards to go) was such an AWFUL call!! There was no way the Eagles could have stopped them on 4th down again!! OMG Sherman you should be burned at the stake for that call! </sarcasm>

Blech, its a sad day at the office here in SE Wisconsin. I think about 6 people from my area called in "sick." How pathetic. I'm a hardcore Packer fan, and the way they lost it AGAIN, was heart-wrenching. Its a game, I'm a little sad about it, but in the end, who really cares.

Now we can finally stop hearing about his losses. He can spend the offseason 'with all the time on his hands', to count his millions of dollars.

Hey dickhead, howd your Red Sox do in game 7 of the ALCS?

Buahahahahaha, at least the Red Sox deserved to be there, unlike the Fudge Packers having to back their way into the playoffs by some god-forsaken bonehead play by the Vikings.

vs. cards:
Vikings also got stuffed from the 1 on 4th and Goal.
They lost on a 4th and 24?

ironic isn't it. give the key to the city to freddy mitchell

what a freaking game! After the field goal to win it, I went outside and threw up. I was on such an emotional roller coaster the whole game, I guess my body just couldn't take it.

I think we're in pretty good shape for the Panthers next weekend. Go Eagles!!!!

yeah, actually, I'd probably rather play the Rams, but out of all the teams in the playoffs, I was scared of the Packers the most.

And we already beat the Panthers this season, and this tile they are coming to Lincoln Financial field!

Go Birds

My buddy threw up after the game- might have something to do with all the shots he was doing in celebration

Donovan threw for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns in addition to his 100 yards on the ground. Not to mention a 28 yd laser strike on 4th & 26....

His value to the team also goes WAY beyond the stellar stats he has put up since the midway point of the season...

He can run with the ball...and?

He was still sacked 8 times by a team not noted for their defensive prowess or tackling ability. How many more times did the Pack not wrap up McNabb and tried to tackle him with one arm yet to miss and him pick up 8-15 yards?

He is a fairly good runner and a poor albeit well practiced passer. He is the equivalent of a healthy McNair without thumbs. Staley is the best player on the Philly offense just like Ahman Green is the best player on the Packer offense(Brett is still a great quarterback, but his best years are behind him and he did throw 2 hail mary's and even got away with one) He was also smart enough to hand off the ball to Ahman 25 times while McNabb only gave it to the Duce 5 times even though he was averaging 9 yards a run.

Sorry but when you throw it or run for it 50 out of 72 plays and you only give it to your best offensive player 5 times, you are either a ball hog or taking blind orders from the coach. I mean come on...every time Duce got the ball he got a first down and the fans went wild. They should have ran with him and did play actions after they had established the run....

What can I say but their defense saved them again...

and BigBadBiologist, that's Mr Limbaugh to you.

Um, McNabb is the best player on Offense not Duce, lay off the crack please. That's why they didn't need Duce as much as you think, looks like someone didn't watch the game during the 92 yard drive McNabb singlehandedly spearheaded.

Man, I replayed this game in Madden 2004, and I made the Eagles pay BIG TIME for what they did. I f'ing crushed them, like the Pack should have done yesterday, and had they had any coach other than Craphead Sherman they would have.

Andy Reid coaches his basically talentless teams to play better than they are.

Mike Sherman coaches his talent laden teams to play worse than they are.

McNabb averaged 6.36 yards per pass attempt
when you add in the sacked yardages, he averaged 3.05 yards per carry

The Duce averaged 9 yards per rushing attempt and 8.7 yards per reception and didn't he fall on one of McNabb's fumbles as well?

First off, sacked yards are already AVERAGED into McNabb's total, so your statement is incorrect. He had 110+ yards rushed before Green Bay's last 2 sacks.

Duce averaged 9 yards on only FIVE carries, so what? That's like saying, Edgerrin James carried it only twice for 40 yards, he averaged 20/yds per carry he totally r0xx0rz!!!!! Omg he pwns u!!! He's the best offensive player on the team now!!
rolleye.gif

McNabb averaged 9.7 rushing AFTER the 8 sacks. What the hell does recovering a fumble have to do with being the best offensive player? Duce fumbled twice this season, both were lost, so what? McNabb is more likely to fumble because he is the QB, any football fan could tell you that.

As for Duce's 8.7 yards per reception: Who passed the ball to him (clue: McNabb)? Wow that helped your argument. This game, 4 Eagles receivers had higher reception averages than Duce, and 5 if you count the one 9 yarder to Thrash.

Furthermore, look at the SEASON STATS. Duce carried the ball 96 times, 463 yards, 4.8 avg, 2 TD's, longest run 22yds. McNabb: 71 times, 355 yards, 5.0 avg, 3 TD's, longest run 34yds. Also, McNabb also passed for 3,216 yards and 16TD's. Now before you yell, but Duce had more receptions than McNabb, read the following statement below!

It's obvious that you don't follow the Eagles OR football of any kind, even my little cousin could tell you that McNabb is a better player than Duce and he's only 14.

Here's a :cookie: for "making them pay". I presume u didn't make Favre throw jump balls up the whole game, which is how you won. *snicker*
