NF7 memory?

Any suggestions on which brands to AVOID based on compatibility issues? I need 512MB and only have $100 left to spend. System is the plain (non-S) NF7 v.2 with an XP2400-M processor.
 
Not sure which to avoid but I have the same board and cpu and run 2 x 512 Crucial PC2700's with no problem at all. Some early Crucial memory had problems with the nForce boards but they have worked it out now. Also, if you go with Crucial and have a problem they are quick to make it right... as would many others, but I had a bad stick of Crucial in another board and they swapped it out ASAP. Can't remember the turn around time but it was fast. I hear Corsair and Kingston are also popular. Others may have more info for you.
