People are talking about the new Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 but no one seems to be talking about the new Nexus 7. $299 for 32gb Nexus 7 HSPA+. That would be so sweet on Straight Talk. Unlike AT&T and T-Mobile, Straight Talk doesn't care what device you use with your SIM card. So you can swap the same SIM from your phone to your tablet no problem.

But they care about data use, which is what the Nexus is mainly for.

I rather buy a WiFi tablet and just run hotspot on my smartphone for internet if anything.

how would that work. would you have to go buy a phone, activate it and then transfer the sim card? is it limited to 2 gb?

Order SIM card from StraightTalkSIM.com I think they are $4.99 with coupon from slickdeals.net now.

Activate SIM card on website and put into tablet. No phone needed. They don't ask for a phone's IMEI or anything. They only ask for the SIM card number.

Yes, limited to 2GB but it can vary. I think it varies based on how congested the network where you are is. 2GB/mo or 100MB/day seems to be the most accepted value.

Well I do believe with AT&T at least you would be swapping your SIM with some smartphone. So unless you're one of the few people trying to cheat with the MediaNet $15 unlimited plan still, swapping SIMs would still work for most people.
