Feels like yesterday the Nexus 5 was launched. We're at Nexus 6 already?

This article is garbage. A phone will launch around the same time the last four in the line (the Nexus line only has 5 phones) did? Shocking.

Should we be reporting on Apple's September hardware conference that will definitely showcase the new iPhone like it's the first time it's ever happened?

Rumors are android silver is dead due to an exec who came up with the idea leaving google.

I think it would still be a better approach than Google Play Edition phones, so it may survive to replace that concept. Meanwhile, the Nexus program continues to serve as the developer platform, with the marriage of hardware and software serving up what Google really wants to showcase and focus on moving forward. That leaves the Silver line to simply be good stock phones, with variable hardware left up to the manufacturers' whims.

That said - it's really anyone's guess what Google will do with these sales models.

I'm simply bummed that, if Motorola is finally under the Nexus umbrella, they appear to be starting at the wrong size. I don't want a 6" phablet, but I want a Motorola Nexus.

I love my Moto X, and not sure I'll be able to convince myself to get a new phone at full price before I've even had this one for a year. I am really curious to see what the next Moto X is like. Rumors are terrible following Motorola, because it's almost guaranteed they'll be releasing multiple sizes of their premium kit (probably same guts, different screen sizes and battery sizes) under the Verizon Droid brand... while they may only release one top-end worldly phone. I'm very curious to see how they approach it this year.

So how is a two month range confirmation of a release date?

It just is, i can also confirm its coming out at the end of the year. It'll have android L preinstalled, screen will be between 5-6" with 1080p or higher res, have a high end soc, lots of ram and plenty of geebee's to store pics and such.

Exactly. They make up garbage on a daily basis, or have a daily editing script to their "news" so it can rise to the top of Google news hits.

Anyone remember their dumbass claim that a new version of the Nexus 10 would be released on Black Friday? That site is absolute crap and I wish Google would filter them out since they are not news, but clickbait.

motorola is a joke company, the batteries in their phones swell up after less than a year and brick the whole phone unless you pay them another $150. they said they were going to release a phone at a comeptitive price, and they released a phone with the previous years technology at a premium price, only to start selling it for a firesale price a couple months later. the advertised "customizability" which turned out to be nothing but a choice of color. they opened a factory in the us only to close it a year later. what a fail of a company

My N5 still doing well, don't really have a reason to upgrade unless it's a massive improvement.

A decent speaker for once would be nice. But otherwise, I'm pretty good. I like that Google just added 'Ok Google' detection from all screens (Well, except off).
