Is there anyway to auto-unlock after typing my pin if it is correct? Or do we have to hit ok each time?

the hitting ok is annoying and stupid. did you know about the trusted device setting. if you are connected to a bluetooth device that you deem trusted, it bypasses the lock screen for you.

There are custom ROMs that have added it. Not sure why android doesn't make it stock for standard pins.

I've also found the face unlock works relatively well as long as I'm in decent light on my nexus 5. Between the face, location (home and work) and Bluetooth (car) I rarely have to enter my passcode.
