the hitting ok is annoying and stupid. did you know about the trusted device setting. if you are connected to a bluetooth device that you deem trusted, it bypasses the lock screen for you.

I've also found the face unlock works relatively well as long as I'm in decent light on my nexus 5. Between the face, location (home and work) and Bluetooth (car) I rarely have to enter my passcode.
