DisplayMate confirms the Nexus 10 display is terribad.I never liked the Nexus 10, maybe I just got a really bad one, but the display was really washed out. Returned mine.
Yeah, if you can find a Galaxy Note 10 2014 edition for cheap, I'd go with that.
But if you can't find a really good sale or want to buy used, then I'd look at ASUS TF701T, it's $300 new.
IDK why the Note 10 is getting recommended over the Tab pro 10.1
The tab pro is a superior tablet. The Z2 is also great and waterproof.

There are microstutters sometimes but that goes for any samsung device.Ordered a Galaxy Note...hopefully performance won't be bogged down too much by touchwiz
You can disable all the S stuff and use Nova, which leaves you with just the useful TW additions (toggles, multiwindow, pen).Ordered a Galaxy Note...hopefully performance won't be bogged down too much by touchwiz

I've never seen a Nexus10 in the wild.
I've only ever seen it for sale by Google themselves, dunno if I have missed it elsewhere but that severely limited access to it.

I enjoy and get a ton of use out of my Nexus 10. *shrug*
I'm guessing Google's not going to release a successor to it and will probably focus their efforts on 7-9" tablets instead.
