Where did you hear that AMD was implementing Palladium?

If AMD was smart, they wouldnt do it... everyone will move from INTEL to AMD.

FYI, AMD Hammers (the first generation of Hammers) will be the first to employ Palladium. Intel wasnt behind Palladium at first, so thats how La Grande developed.

Looks like I'll be seeing you on a Cyrix pretty soon.

Its all rumors at this point in time. But given the AMD Hammer SouthBridge, it has an very interesting "Privacy-security logic". AMD supported Palladium the day it launched and is working on a hardware implementation know as "Fritz"

I dont think moving to Linux will help either, because Intel's LaGrande specfication is multi-platform wide. Its a good thing because it prevents Microsoft from monopolizing the DRM "business."
