With the S4 released about 4 months ago, any speculations on when the next product refresh for companies will be? I think I read somewhere Apple may be announcing a new iPhone this year, but I believe that's still speculation. I'm overdue for an upgrade (still using my Droid Charge), but I can wait a bit to get the newest, whenever that is. I'm not completely up to date on my phones, so I'd appreciate some advice.

New iPhones will be shown Sept 10. Galaxy Note 3 and perhaps the Nexus 5 will also be shown around the same time from what the rumors suggest.
 
I'd like to see the Note3 in person ... a 5.7 inch screen at 1080 would be pretty tempting though I'm only 4.5 months with the HTC One so I'm unlikely to upgrade.

What are the small tablet (7-8 inch) options with active stylus and 1080 screens?
