Next new Android Nexus tablet coming soon?

I heard the current nexus 9 has mixed reviews and am wondering, does anyone know when's the next nexus tablet out? I don't care about size. I can use anything from 4om 7 - 10in

We might see something at Google IO (~Nov.)

Until we have new SoCs there are no point to a new tablet, so mid year at best for something new.

Google did come out with a tablet more recently than the Nexus 9 though. The Pixel C.

I/O is in May.

They haven't launched a Nexus device at I/O since the OG N7. Doesn't mean they won't, they just haven't used I/O for Nexus launches for a few years now.

And just for fun, MWC is going on right now. The S7, G5, and a few other phones have been announced already and are running the Snapdragon 820 or the new 650 for the mid-range.
