Anyone know anything more about the 2.5L Camry V6 (since it isn't the same as the V6 here in the states)?

It must be an all new motor, because I couldn't find any information about a Toyota 2.5L V6 anywhere. If the they are mistaken about the V6 part, it could be a Toyota 1JZ-GTE 2.5L I6 which puts down a nice amount of power. (esp. when turboed)

The thing that disturbs me is why Lotus are made in the same assambly line as Vauxhall (british Opel). I know they are twins, but I didn't know they were made in the same factory.

You shouldn't be too worried about Vauxhall
... as long as GM execs from the US don't mind their overseas folks too much. They might infect Lotus and Vauxhall with plastic-bodycladding syndrome.

blah- putting a V6 goes against the whole philosophy of the Elise. In a car that light, the F20 motor would be sublime (S2000), or even a tweaked K20 engine (RSX). The Elise already runs low 13s with a B18C 195hp motor.

They should use the 190 hp Rover motor out of the Exige. Of course I would rather have the Exige instead of the Elise.
