Next Generation Acura Integra?

They need to tone down on the aggressiveness and give it some more finesse. Too many sharp edges. Oh yea, NFS is right - anything Japanese nowadays is rice.

Pronto - LMAO!!! What the hell was the motivation behind that design? Beat the Aztec to gain the crown of most hideous production vehicle??

According to the Carpoint site:

<< A pickup truck, an SUV, a five-seat convertible with the looks of a strange, futuristic wagon. It's all at the GMC display and it's all in one concept vehicle, the Terracross. This squarish, strident vehicle with GM's Versatrak all-wheel-drive system includes one big sunroof packing three glass panels that can be moved electronically to various positions. If stacked on top of each other, fully two-thirds of the Terracross roof length is open to the sky. When opened to their most forward position, the sunroof panels help build an open cargo box at the back of the Terracross. You really have to see it to believe it. Powered by a 185-horsepower 3.4-liter V6, the Terracross sits up well above the ground and rides on 19-inch wheels. >>

It's a combination of 4 different vehicles. 🙂

Whatever it is the new Integra couldnt look much worse than the current model. What was their inspiration for those beady little headlights? A flounder?

Ugh. So many kids in San Jose, CA have their Acuras with Type R and kanji covering their car. I drive a Japanese car myself and I have raced these kids and beaten them badly. But, they all think they're bad arses nonetheless - as if their 4 cylinder machines can compare in torque and HP to some Camaro SS or Ford Lightning. I am not an American car fan myself (except the Viper and Venom), but these kids have got to be more realistic. A Civic is NOT a race car. It's got 4 cylinders and doesn't start accelerating well until it hits high RPMs.

They should all go to this site.

jsm, once you add a turbo to one of these engines, they become pretty damn competitive. And engine swaps are nothing in the world of Honda, they're very common. I know people who have put Integra gsr engines in Civic's, and they're pretty damn fast. People who know nothing about cars are harmless, but the ones who know what they're doing can be a tough race...

What genocide said. Some cars have engine swaps, hybrids blocks and heads, etc. Add a turbocharger on those and they can be real competition to other cars. 🙂

The acura looks like the 300M Body style. High rear low front. As for the GMC Truck, I think they should go back to the stone age and put square wheels & tires on that baby!

Cause not everyone has enough money to buy a Corvette or a Viper, I thought that was obvious... 🙂
And who was talking about looks? We were talking about performance

Yeah...like other CIVICS.

Giz, I know someone with an Integra GS, all he has on it is a turbo running 11 or 12 psi and an exhaust, running high 13s. The Civic engines don't differ much from the Integra engines, you do the math...
