next gen NSX rendering

hm... it has deactivation feature for engine... article says shuts down 5 out of 10 from the V10 engine.. how does that work? won't it be unbalanced?

fugly. and front engine?? wth! why not stick with the midengine platform and make a real supercar. looks like every other 2 door coupe on the road.

At this point this rendering is just speculation. Frankly I don't like what I see and hope it's wrong. I don't know what has gotten into Honda/Acura but they really seem to have lost their styling mojo in a major way. The car's performance should be amazing, though, and I LOVE the sound of it on the 'Ring videos that have emerged.

No, why would it be unbalanced? All the rotating weights are still there so there would be extra vibration from that.

I like the front, not the back on this car. I don't think it will be price competitive with the GT-R though

When the NSX came out, it really had the "WOW" factor. Original design that really stood out. If you saw one drive past, people would take notice. This, not so much. Hopefully they'll go back to the drawing board and get something out that is worthy of the NSX name.

Audi had a 5 cylinder engine in the 80's, apparently worked fine. And it isn't the next NSX until they put the engine in the middle!

All I have to say is that I really, really hope that they nix the stacked exhaust outlets. They look horrible on the LF-A and they still look horrible on the Acura. Otherwise, I rather like it. It looks a little overweight, but we'll see.
