What is up with the front grill bumper?

That looks like a mishmash of about 4 different styles.
 
Still has the ugly huge taillights. The rear panel glasses look just like the Buick SUV. The spare tire is inside now.

I like the 2nd generation look the most.
 
the front grill is too weird. the shape of the tail reminded me of a tribeca when i first saw it.

for people that remotely follow cars, they'll know that it's a new model since they never saw it.
