Next-gen Honda Civic Type-R chops (250HP)

Looks ugly as hell

Nice amount of power though but I'm willin to bet it doesn't have enough torque to tow a greasy string out of a sick cats ass.

You must not know anything about late model hondas.

RSX w/ TSX swap dyno

215 WHP, 181 WTQ. Mods are I/H/E, retuned ECU. That's about 250 HP, 210 TQ at the crank.

I'm not saying this is for real, I'm actually skeptical myself. But if Honda wanted to get serious, putting out a 250 HP civic would be easy crap for them.

civics are already 18k new, and I'm not going to pay any more for a "performance" civic. I'd get a real car if i had the money. CIvics are good for what they are. Nice gas-friendly, economy cars.

My personal preference(which nobody probably gives a rats ass about) is to have more torque than horsepower and for 80% of that to be available at/or before 2000 RPM's

Doubt I will ever see honda do that, but they do have their place, just happens to not be in my garage unless a very good deal comes my way and i'm looking for a cheap commuter car. Until then I'll stick with my F-350 and my Mustang.

Although it's ugly IMO 250hp at that weight level is nothing to scoff at.

Also, how come the rear end looks like the RX-8? (Muffler tips and lights kinda do)
