I'm probably selling my 20 gig iRiver for a 4G 20 gig iPod, they look awesome. Anyone want to buy my iRiver? :)

Just ordered a 20GB ipod with non apple branded carrying case (19.99) instead of 34.99

seems a little less bulky only thing i wish is they made a case with a removable clip so i can put it in my pocket

Replacement plan bah, especially if you can get the education discount. Apple hardware always has good resale value, so just get the 2 year AppleCare extension and then sell it with 6 months remaining. Some 10 gig versions are still going for $150+ on eBay.

And what sucks about the new iPods is, Apple got rid of two accessories that came with the high end models: the remote and the carrying case. This bites. So y'all might wait till August, when Apple will probably come out with a 60 gig version, hopefully with those accessories restored. Because 40 gig + $70 accesorries + $30 = price of 60 gig with the extras.

I ordered mine yesterday (Monday) morning. 20 Gig, no engraving (though "fvck RIAA and clearchannel" woulda fit on second thought) and I just got shipment notification so these are definitely in stock. I'll update when I get it on impressions, etc.

Love the engraving idea, hah!
