The worst air disaster ever in Auburn, Alabama occurred today when a
small two-seater Cessna crashed into a cemetery early this morning.

Auburn graduate search and rescue workers have recovered 826 bodies
so far, and expect that the number will climb as the digging
continues into the night.

More news tomorrow....

Meanwhile news on the internet:

This story just plain stinks.......

Just got a private message about the link.
The person who sent it said that he felt it was in questionable taste..
All I can say is that if you feel that way I'm sorry.

I thought it was funny. Don't worry, no matter what you do you can't please everybody. 😉

The link cracked me up.
I needed a good laugh - thanks!!!

"hold hands...if they wouldn't have been chewed off by demons"
"that's 158 people per minute"

I realize the Landover site is supposed to be a parody, but I'll just say it made me sad rather than smile. The Christian faith is often misunderstood.

<< But when you smell sulfur, you know the Devil is around. Friends, have you ever sat yourself down on the toilet to do nature?s necessity and been overwhelmed by the smell of rotten eggs? It is sulfur. A clear sign that demons are living in your bottom. You need to get yourself down to a Bible-believing church, pronto, and get yourself a Jesus enema! >>

I don't want to start a flamewar or OT religious thread but that Shutdown Landover Baptist website is totally whack...

"The Internet was created by the United States of America - a Christian nation - and should not be used to spread anti-Christian, secular, or non-Christian propaganda and hatespeech. This is our Internet, and we should exercise our position as its owners and as the guardians of civilization to stop its misuse."

The internet may have have roots in the United States but the USA does not own the internet and has no power to regulate the content of legal websites. Also, who proclaimed the USA a "Christian nation"? I don't think I need to point out that a lot of US citizens are NOT Christians. I don't practice organized religion and I'm a US citizen. In fact, isn't today a national Jewish holiday? Citizens of the US enjoy the rights of freedom of religion AND speech.

"If it isn't illegal, we must pressure our congressmen to make it so!"

Oh, that's so nice to read. If people don't agree with your views or faith do something about it, make it illegal. What a friggin' joke these people are. Oh well, at least they aren't supporting the bombing of abortion clinics (yet)...
