can you elaborate on the story of your latest quest with the guy who stole $5000 of your money and now you're sending the british police and interpol after him?

reference is in here

we are all very curious since you have made so many posts about it.

First you try to bribe us and the mods for elite member status, then you end up getting owned.

Well done!

Wait, I'm a little confused. If I recall correctly, he had in possesion like 50 new ipods right?

So is this $5000 that is being held up for ANOTHER set of ipods?

I thought he showed pictures of the ipod boxes? At the time I was thinking "did he open any of them or are the bricks still sitting in their boxes."

I hae to tell nP, but I'm sure Interpol and the bobbies have a lot better things to do these days. Kiss his money goodbye.

just read the reference in the thread.

background behind this goes a bit further (but not much):

he realized he can strike gold if he bought 50 60gb ipod photos on an ebay auction awhile ago. the seller had no feedback and everyone was telling him to go for it (albeit sarcastically, since they knew very well that it was a scam and it was probably 60 pictures of an ipod photo). a lot of folks were trying to outbid him but he always made it on top. there were a few hours left till the auction closed and then ebay pulled it.

so that was the end of quest numero uno.

i guess the later threads showed how he got the ipods (and he even posted pictures of them), but i guess this is a third shipment since he's made it a business or something.

i don't know. i want an update.

Yes unfourtunatley that is correct.

But i recently found another supplier, and he is again willing to ship first.

I am buying another 50 iPods, and hopefully will be able to make back what i lost.
I'll post pics when I get the batch in.

They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting [a different] result. Did we not tell you it was going to be a scam?

Have you at made a profit, or did the $5000 wipe it out?

I ended up breaking even, but as my dad put it, 'I spent money like a drunken sailor' on my vacation, so I kinda lost a little.

And insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a DIFFERENT result. Like getting hit in the balls always hurts. By your defintiontion, expecting this pain every time you are about to get smacked, is insane? No sir. Expecting that this one time is the time it won't hurt is insane.
