I was at the NSA Supermarket the other day and I noticed that these products are still around. I know they used to be at Burger King but have not seen them there in over two decades. Are they any good?

Sounds scary. I wouldn't shop there. I bet their loyalty card's a real bitch.

I'm generally a fan of Newman's Own. Not everything's the best, but I'd gamble on any of their products with the assumption it'll be acceptable at worst.

Yeah, it's an odd place. It's on the floor of a non-descript building and has very dim lights. Above it is a huge two block processing center for the main USPS office in New York state. Prices are attractive enough for me to wander there from time to time though.

Pretty much this.

I find their pasta sauces to be excellent though. Love me some Sockarooni.

I love their Spaghetti Sauce and Alfredo Sauce.
Otherwise, haven't tried or seen much else.

No comment on NSA supermarket. It sounds like the kind of place one would want to avoid, except I'm sure it's impossible to avoid, They have free run of the interwebs, they probably have access to all the CCTV systems in all the supermarkets in the USA.

i like newman's own salsa. paul newman was an awesome guy, in the correct sense of the word, but that alone doesn't justify my loyalty to his posthumous salsa.

Like others, fan of the pasta sauce. I prefer it over most of the others I've tried (store bought anyway).

They've been on the shelf since introduction around here. Originally it was just salad dressings. I like most of the products I've tried.

They've been in my area for a long time to. I've tried their pasta sauces, salad dressings, and salsa. Most of them are good. Not great but good.

Nah, you don't need a loyalty card, but they track what you buy anyway. ba-dum-bum

Same here. Salad dressing's usually pretty good. I've bought their carton of lemonade sometimes; not bad if you're not making your own.

the frozen pizza is nothing to brag about.

My mother likes them a lot. I like them pretty well too, but I suspect I wouldn't like them considering the price. I've never bought one, but I assume they're on the high side.

I noticed this stuff disappeared off the shelves from our local markets after Newman passed away. I assumed the charity was dissolved and the products were no longer available. I was a fan of Vodka and Sockarooni pasta sauces. The Caesar salad dressing was good also.

I buy the Olive Oil and Vinegar salad dressing, and its pretty good. Only problem is their bottles dont have a pour top (? a cap with a hole in it), so you have be really careful when pouring. There are tons of the Newman's Own products in the stores around here.

Never had any, but the profits go to charity, so it's kinda neat.

«Over US$370 million, according to the Newman's Own Foundation website, has been generated for charity since 1982», according to wikipedia.

If I wasn't such a cheapskate (who therefore buys no-name products), I'd buy these.

OP obviously doesn't shop at supermarkets.

Newman's Own is a well-established brand. OP just noticed a fastfood joint mention that they had Newman's Own sauce or dressing for some temporary product and thought it was a Burger King thing?
