I think it's a mistake to "move on" in terms of examining why the problem was created in the first place. I will agree that it is probably a good idea to try to solve the problem, but I see no reason we have to pick one or the other. Complaining about the complete goat rodeo that was the march to war in Iraq isn't going to help deal with the fact that we're there and we have to do something about it. But on the other hand, "moving on" to focus on the current situation and brushing off how we got here is a recipe to end up in exactly the same screwed up situation a few dozen more times in the future.

It does no good to dwell on past mistakes, but it's a pretty dumb idea to not try to learn from them. I'm just saying, there is room to do both.
I can't disagree with any of that... but at the end of the day, I'd still call it "moving on" 😉
