newly built asus a7v 900 tbird sparkle ps power on problems????

i just built an amd t-bird 900 with and asus a7v mboard and a new 350w sparkle power supply. the machine works great, but if i shutdown and then go to restart with the case mounted power switch it won't turn on. if i unplug the power supply, wait a couple minutes, fidget around with the power supply on/off, then plug it back in it will start. needless to say i am confused. it seems to me maybe the power supplies internal breakers are resetting? but i don't know. any input would be appreciated greatly.

Sounds like the motherboard is shorting out on the case! I had a problem like that with my old computer if I would just slightly touch it it would turn off and I would need to unplug the ATX cable on the motherboard and then plug it back in!
