Anyway around this? Always comes back saying that its not supported in this release yet....

I would suggest using PR if you want to use most of the themes and extensions. I read somewhere that unless you are a developer or a bug tester, you should stick to PR1.

there's a hack to force extensions to work, assuming the RC Build did not really break extension

Easy workaround, Close Firefox,
open \%appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\randomname\extensions\Extensions.rdf
and change maxVersion="0.10" to maxVersion="1.0" (there may be a few).

this has been posted all over the mozillaline forums and etc ..
