I recently activated my brothers old Moto Q ( the original) since I was getting really pissed off at my Storm. I installed Opera on it and man it was fast. Though I am back on my storm because google maps did not work right with the GPS.

But the old phone seems to just grab the info and keep grabbing it till its fully loaded on webpages.

were as on my storm and it seems they are doing a "Pulse" type deal which grabs the info then stops then goes then stops...ect.

Do all the newer phones do this? I haven't really played with any other newer type phone.

Yea, browsing on the Pre, EVO, N1, iPhone, etc, is definitely pretty fast. The Storm isn't that great.

I know the BB browser sucks trust me ha, I am using opera but it seems its a blackberry thing which pulses data instead of just one long send/receive.

I noticed the same type of behavior on my Tour. Not sure if that's normal or not though.

Yeah, the browser sucks. Try it with javaScript turned off, as long as the site doesn't require it. Not ideal, but worth a shot. Either that or give Opera Mini a go, it's OK, even if it does have it's own touch keyboard system, which is moronic and the fact that it ignores the clickscreen. The sad part is you most likely won't see the Web Kit browser on your Storm as it only has 128Mb RAM(I'm assuming you have a Thunder, rather than an Odin device).
