Newegg's Shipping...

Okay I ordered some stuff... over the weekend. For example I ordered a new mobo, gfx card, PSU and a monitor and HSF. Everything goes to plan on monday, sucessfully payed for and ordered. I recieve my tracking #'s and everythings fine. Now the problem is my order was split.. because one item was shipped from a TN warehouse and the other from CA.

The one from TN goes fine I see the tracking go from Place to place to place and Guess what I got it today at 5:20pm EST, what it was was a 55lb monitor, a SamSung 997mb. This I am happy about. What makes me unhappy is the fact that I paid nextday shipping and Got 1 of 6 items on time. The other tracking number says they recived my Billing info and that they don't know if it is a pickup or drop off? and to contact my shipper. IE newegg. What UPS said was and I qoute. "*UPS has received shipper's billing information electronically. Billing information received does not indicate shipment pickup or drop-off. Please contact the shipper for more details.". So I emailed newegg and havn't got a response as of yet. But to the best of my knowledge all my stuff I paid for is sitting in california still and I won't get it tommorrow.

All in all I have used newegg twice and have paid UPS standard 3 day and gotten stuff early. So when I pay extra to get it sooner I will get it late. Im confused. okay hows this for a piontless rant...

At least the monitors nice...

Did you pay for expedited shipping?

They've really lost it in terms of the CS I was used to, but they're still good for how big they've gotten. Unlike others here, I never got to like ZZF much (I liked em when thye were still googlegear) because well for one thing, they never got things out to door as soon as newegg, so the free 2day fedex was useless. Also, since I'm in Cali, it doesn't matter if they ship fedex ground, I'll usually get it the next day or in 2 days anyway.

I've had really good experiences with Monarch though, pay for regular shipping and get things sent 2 day.

Monarch just needs a bigger selection of stuff.

Well There was 3 options for UPS shipping, UPS Guaranteed 3 Day Service, UPS 2nd Day and UPS next Dat Saver. I picked the UPS Next day saver and paid an extra 30 bucks for it and I will didn't get it today, only 1 piece which shipped closer and it had the same shipping info.

I haven't bought much from NewEgg lately and don't care to. Their prices aren't as competitive and std UPS shipping blows.

I've never had trouble with ZZF. All my orders shipped out in <48 hours and zero problems encountered. I've heard their return process is a nightmare tho, hopefully never have to deal with that.

Monarch doesn't update their inventory in anything close to real time, so if you're ordering a hot ticket item I highly recommend you call first or plan to waste a lot of time. I purchased a mobo & CPU a while back; the mobo was OOS. I had to call two days later wondering why it hadn't shipped to find that out. 3 business days later waiting to see if the mobo's will come in they say they'll ship my CPU overnight. Takes' em two more days to ship the CPU. Of course my CC was already billed for the total (actually payed through Paypal w/CC). Took me a month to get a Paypal refund, stupid BS. I won't order from them unless its a killer deal and I don't need it soon.

MWave is okay, only ordered one or two things from them in the past while.

I have to say I've not had a problem with NewEgg as long as I selected Fedex, and Rush if I wanted it quick. UPS sucks in my area at least

My latest experience is a lot better. I've ordered 4 times from Newegg in the last 2 weeks, each time expecting lost and smashed up packages delivered two weeks late. 3 of the 4 showed up 2 days after I placed the order, and the big shipment had a UPS delivery date of Monday, and it was delivered Saturday. I've NEVER had a shipment delivered early (much less on time) from UPS, and now I've had 4 in two weeks. HUGE improvement.

I like/liked? newegg... I have order in the past serveral things and had absolutly no problems at all. I bought a CPU and then like a year later (only like 6 months ago) a new MOBO and CPU. There was no problem with them so I had good luck until now, atleast I get to use my new monitor. 19" is so much better.

If UI don't get an email response from newegg tommorrow or have my tracking # change when I'm at work I am going to call them and see what happened.

The shipping option does not affect the time at which the order is packaged and actually shipped.

Time to package and ship + Shipping time = Time 'ntil yous gots yer junk

This is true for just about every site on the interweb, not just newegg.

Then whyy did they tell me it shipped then? and why did it go past the point were they said it was packaged and sealed?

Newegg shipping has gone to crap ever since they started offering UPS service. I still pay a few bucks extra and go with FedEx. I live in Utah and if order the part with FedEx on monday, it is in my hand on Wednesday. Every time, hasn't failed yet. UPS, who know's when it will actually arrive.

--This does not mean it has shipped, this means that UPS knows a package is coming from newegg for them to deliver. That's all. You will get a seperate email when it has shipped, and be advised that the shipping method chosen refers to FULL business days, so if you choose second day shipping and it ships 5 minutes into the day, it does not gaurantee that it will be there tomorrow, and will probably be there on (techincally) the third day.

I know were yo are coming from. One of these days people will actually say that NEXT day will be there in 3 and 2nd Day will be there in 6 days and 3 day will be ther in a week and a half. ;)

This is why I continue to buy from you, even if my package does come late (OMG one day!, seriously, not a big deal) I know if there are any problems they will be resolved, even if at times it was my fault :eek:, and if it was neweggs I usually come away even happier. Keep it up guys!

ups just sucks. i always use fedex, and get my stuff early.

never had a problem with newegg getting it out either. as long as i ordered early in the morning, the get it out the same day. if i wait until lunch time or later, it may not ship until the next day.
