the ram link above the code below

EMCJNHE45 all desktop ram

EMCJNHE46 all laptop ram

talk about the good getting better.

I have no need for this ram but I grabbed 5 sticks! I used ebates 2 % off paid with my discover card and used the 5% off all online purchases. (until dec) so the extra 7% made up for NJ 7% sales tax.

I also could not resist buying a power color hd 7990 open box card for 800.

they are out of stock now

I think with 1 mod I can fit it this in this case

Ugh, when are they ever going to make those ultra-low-profile sticks in single 8GB sticks...

just a warning for those who need more than 5 sticks - you probably won't be able to use the coupon code twice (meaning you probably can't use it again on a second order if you have to buy more than 5 sticks). i needed 8 sticks of this stuff, and the maximum order is 5. when i tried to place a second order for 3 more sticks, it wouldn't allow me to apply the coupon code again. so i called customer service, and it was explained to me that, while a specific reason why the coupon code failed is not provided during the checkout process, there is a limited quantity of this particular memory. so while there is nothing stopping me from ordering 8 sticks total (even though it must be done by placing 2 separate orders), newegg won't allow the coupon code on the second order in efforts to keep the product in stock longer...

*EDIT* - shortly after placing my second order for 3 additional sticks of memory, i got an "order cancelled" email from newegg LOL:

This email notification has been sent to inform you that one or more items placed on the below specified order has exceeded its quantity limit allowance within its 48-hour quantity restriction period.

...so i guess i'll have to wait 48 hours before i can order my last 3 sticks...i'm hoping the price stays low for a few more days...

I bet you could order a couple of the 2x4GB packs and possibly use the coupon again. Give it a shot!

tried it, and it didn't work. i'd be interested to know whether or not my order would get cancelled again if i went ahead and placed it anyways (without the coupon code). after all, the 8GB (2 x 4GB) kit is technically a different product than the 1 x 4GB stick...but since i only need 3 additional sticks, not 4, i'm gonna pass on this little experiment. i'd rather wait 48 hours and order 3 more individual 4GB sticks and save $8.

Single sticks are now showing as OOS. 2x4GB sets are still in stock, but cost a buck more more per stick.

WTH, in for two matched sets for my new Sabertooth Z77 board before they go OOS too.

I went for 2 sets as well. With the discount code and all the awesome reviews, plus the fact they are low-profile sealed the deal for me.
