Newegg's new "EggPoints" program

After being a huge NewEgg customer for 12 years, I also haven't been shopping there lately. I really don't like the products coming from different sellers, and I'm not a big fan of their new filtering side panel. Overall, they just seem to have gone downhill...

They probably shipped it DHL "smart" post which always takes more than a week to arrive. Never understood why newegg wouldn't just use parcel post or first class, it would probably be faster and cheaper.

Yup, they used DHL alright... I love how in DHL's email they advertise an image of them going through less shipping facilities which would make you think it would be faster.... 🙄

Newegg really went downhill when they started offering more than just computer stuff.

Newegg now sells jewelry?!?!?!

They are trying to compete with Amazon and Buy.com as a Market Place - since most of their customer base shops there too for non-computer stuff...

Was surprised to see Rosewill (Newegg's house brand) branching out into Toasters:

I had to chime in because I was looking for a site that displays all the EggPoint items. But just FYI to the Eggpoints guys. There is items that say they offer Eggpoints, unless it says the items don't give points. Case in point Look up item number N82E16889354228 ... Otherwise it doesn't offer it.

Plus you don't need a new account, just need to buy items offering eggpoints. It's sad however for a small business owner that uses newegg to buy clients items.. it's a good thing. Otherwise as a normal consumer it's forgive my french.. but shit..
