I'm sure it's still the same. They sell a pretty high volume of very expensive items, and so are frequently the victims of credit card fraud. They do what they can to reduce that.

Called Customer service yesterday....That WAS the problem.....address was wrong....so i went to the bank.....waited an hour so they could do one minute of work by changing my address....UGH!!! So I checked newegg out this morning when I got up and it is now on step three....my debit card has been charged ( I now have NO moeny in the bank BTW) and all is well....Now lets just see if it gets here in one piece...

It should be here by tomorrow if it is shipped out today......when i talked to customer service...they said it would be shipped out by noon today, and if thats the case then it should get here tomorrow.

They are really concerned about cutting down of fraud to protect customers, it also contributes to the speed of processing when all the information is squared away
