Last time I ordered a CPU, and it didn't process past step 1, and I was hoping it would arrive the next day, since I live like 15 miles from newegg in cali. The next day it was STILL on step 1, I was thinking they just got slower. But then at the afternoon, it WAS STILL at step 1, so I thought something definately isn't right. I called them up, and I found out that I forgot to update the expiration date on my credit card. So I update them with my credit card, and it ships almost IMMEDIATELY, and I receive it the following day.

You probably just made an error like that.

Hmmm... I placed an order sunday night for a complete computer, monitor, case ps, everything. Speakers shipped from Tennessee. Burner shipped from NJ, everything from So Cal. Made it to me in Davis, all of it this morning.

My friend had the same problem, payed for the rush, placed with the same credit card he always did, and it was delayed for some reason. I think every once in a while, one just slips through.

I don't think they're doing as good as they used to... for me they always get things out the day I place my order, but the problem is now they do screwed up shipping on all their items... .99 cents for shipping? C'mon, just call it "free fedex saver shipping" and add a buck onto the price.

Oh well, I still order everything from them and love them, but some of the stuff they've been doing lately doesn't make much sense.

The only problem I ever have with Newegg is that it's orders of magnitude slower than most other sites.
