I'd say about a month or 2 ago I received an email survey asking for feedback on whether I'd like a store-pickup option during checkout within newegg.com.

I live so close to City of Industry that this would really benefit me. Any word on this? I don't see this anywhere their website. Anyone else get the same survey? Seems like the whole concept fell short.

I have no idea what happened with the survey you saw, but I do recall more then one person saying they had picked stuff up from the Egg in years past.

I'll e-mail my business to business rep and post the reply when she responds.

Well it's nice for big and heavy orders that you don't want damaged during shipping but we have still have to pay tax. Mwave.com does will call as well, but they include a service charge. :(

How much business do you have to do with the Egg to become a business partner? I average about $2,000 a month there. What are some of the benefits, even if I don't qualify?

i took that survey as well, they wanted to charge for will-call and the hours available for pickup were pretty crappy for those that work normal hours.

My rep replied back and said that they do pickups in california and new jersey for business customers only.

Benefits, I don't get charged shipping for hardly any items, free rush processing, the ability to use purchase orders on Net 30 terms, etc. I can also call the rep if I need to, however, I just build my shopping card and e-mail it to her. She says they'll soon have it set up where I can order from the website using Net 30 terms.

Just use the contact us link on the page to ask about it.. http://www.newegg.com/Info/Con...tDesc=Customer_Service

It seemed to me that newegg wanted to charge even more than mwave for their will call pickup.
