I live in the sticks so it's pretty much newegg.com or the local walmart for my technology needs. This thread makes me love newegg that much more! Thanks for the giggles VirtualLarry!
 
Should have called them right off the bat when you got the 2 e-mails. Maybe they could have applied the credit to your other purchase.
 
Well, I checked today, and it appears that the extra money is back in my account. My apologies to Newegg, although I still don't understand why they didn't just reverse the original charge. (I've had that done some week or more after it was originally charged, so it is possible.)
