My power supply burnt out last sunday night, ordered a new one that same night. It is now wednesday and the new ps hasn't been shipped yet... Anyone else ordering from newegg and seeing this problem? I'm used to getting newegg items the day after I order them since I live near the California warehouse. I know it's christmas but tommorow is day 4 and it says they will ship in 1-2days. Should I call them?

call them in the morning AFTER you check the site . . .

it was still "about to be shipped" and i got so frustrated that i called them . . . they said it had already been shipped and then i went to my front door and it was there

No you should not call them. Instead you should make a stupid ass post asking what to do.

Judging from your tone, i'd say I have done just that. Maybe you like calling and complaining about any lil thing that comes out, I prefer to find out wether my complaint is justified ahead of time. If it is because of the christmas rush I hardly think it would be convenient to spam newegg with calls about the same issue. Maybe i'm just too considerate though.

I guess i'll look into it tommorow.

Call or email them... They're pretty quick at responding to emails. If it hasn't been shipped yet, get ready for some gifts from Newegg :)

No doubt !

As for the ' Egg, IMHO they are slipping on their fulfillment times. Right now, eXcaliberPC and Monarch both get my business over Newegg, they are way faster and keep you better informed of the status of your order.

Newegg has been slowing down lately for me too. I think they're trying to push the faster processing surcharge option. Last time I ordered, it was 48 hours plus and my order had not shipped yet, but my card was billed. Fvck them, canceled that. Cost them a HTPC and OS order.

I've noticed the slow down on order processing but they still got excellent customer service. Just call them, complain and they'll try their best.
