Newegg, Signature Required?

In their FAQ, it says that if a Signature is required...blah blah blah.

But... it doesn't say which order they require a signature on.

I can't remember what happened the last time I ordered from them.

Do they require a signature by default?

I got 2nd Day UPS.

I received a package yesterday from newegg by ups ground and they just left it on the front porch while I was gone like usual, no signature required. I don't have a signature on file with ups either, although I do have one on file for fedex.

Signature is usually required by UPS, not newegg itself. If you tell UPS to just drop stuff off, they won't try and find you for a Sig.

It's up to the carrier ultimately esp if there is insurance. Lately people have been raping the system claiming packages have been taken.

yea you can contact ups and do a will call instead i think.
