Newegg shipping?

I just ordered my new rig yesterday(9/7) and finally today I recieved the tracking information for my purchase. Everything but the motherboard is coming from CA (I live in West Los Angeles), the motherboarsd is from NJ. Usually when I order from NewEgg I recieve the package a couple days earlier than what the tracking said. For instance I recieved my CoolerMaster Praetorian case today, but I didnt recieve anything else but I ordered everything at the same time.

I was hoping to recieve everything by Saturday, for you Californians out there who have ordered from Newegg and have had a package come from NJ, how long did it take compared to what Fedex tracking info said?

FedEx Express doesn't deliver on Saturday...you may receive it on Friday though...I know I usually receive my orders from Newegg a day early...

Damn it sucks they dont deliver on saturdays, but it says you can pick up from the Fedex office:

"Delivery is available Monday-Friday, with Saturday Pick-Up Service available in A1, A2, A3, AA, and AM areas for an additional charge"

If they dont get here friday do you know if LA is in one of those zones?

What is the rush? Friday...Monday, you are only talking about two days. Relax, meditate, have a beer, then the package will arrive before you know it.

I had a package from Newegg that I paid for "overnight" delivery last week, was supposed to be delivered on Friday, I got it 2 days ago on Tuesday. Thanks FedEx!

From what I have seen, fedex will not deliver more than one day early (denver, CO).

Same thing happened with me last week. Ordered on Wednesday, paid for expeidited processing and overnight shipping and did not receive it until the following Tuesday. I hope Newegg is not slipping or I might have to take my business elsewhere.

Newegg is getting slower. Unfortunate reality of their increasing popularity. Ironically enough, packages that ship out of CA get to me (midwest) quicker than if they are shipped from NJ. Must have something to do with Fedex's shipping schedule. My CA packages always get here a day before the tracking page says it will. I used to have everything ship the same day I place the order, and I've never foolishly paid for their "expedited shipping." Now, its about 50/50 whether it ships the same day or the next.

Still a lot better than Zipzoom though, which seems to sit on orders for a couple of days.

I ordered a hard drive on Tuesday a little after lunch and it shipped the following day. EDD is for this coming Monday. Six days total to deliver to the southern US is nothing for me to brag about even if it does include a weekend. I've never been impressed or had any spectacular luck with NE and Fed-X shipping. The main reason I still buy from them is because if I order something I know it will be delivered. They get an A+ for keeping their inventory straight.

I have had good experience with Newegg until recently. I ordered a DvD-RW DL Drive from them on Monday, 10-25, and still have not recieved it. When I called them Thursday last week, they said that the credit card address may need to be verified. I have used this card at the site with no problems before. I called my bank, and they said it has already been charged. I recieved an E-Mail later that day saying that had "warehouse issues" that caused the delayed shipping. When I talked to them on Monday this week, they said the order will be expedited, and the "warehouse issues" have been resolved. It has not been shipped as of today yet, hopefully tomorrow. I did place another order early Monday, and part of it already shipped, so they may restore my faith. I remember a time before when I placed an order and it always shipped the same day, even without paying the extra fee. What happened??

I ordered DVD burner on Friday pretty early Pac time, shipped from NJ on Monday and said it left FedEx NJ sort facility later on Monday. I expect to see it tomorrow. A bit slower than I expect from newegg, but well within their stated terms for non-expedited orders.
. I find that if you really need stuff tomorrow, you better use the phone rather than a web order.
