newegg - shipping

Ordered it after noon... was in the truck the next day... but Fedex took it back and status said not due for delivery... so it came the next day. 🙁
 
jspeicher - FedEx only delivers on Saturday if a surcharge is paid by the shipping customer (Newegg in this case) and Newegg obviously doesn't do this (and you shouldn't expect them to), it says no Saturday deliveries on the checkout page.
 
When fedup screw up they screwup really bad, like i was suppose to get it thursday right? so waited and waited, then look at my tracking and it said wrong address! wtf? so instead of 2 day, it took 5 freakin' days just for that and man was i furious, i emailed newegg about this incident and all i got was a 5 dollar refund, boohoo.
 
Ordered Friday night... shipped Monday... arrived Wednesday. Living about 20 min. from a major Fedex hub (Indianapolis) probably helps...
 
Newegg ships the stuff fast and it gets to the FedEx facility within a mile of where I live here in Central Fl. fast, then it sits there with the online status of "Package in FedEx location, Package not due for delivery" :|

Couple time FedEX 's tracking number show my order already arrived in my City.
Then, they don't want to deliver until the day later.

Now, if I see my order has arrived my city, I generally call them up and pick up at their station.
 
Generally orders from newegg will take 3-4 days, I've had fedex sit on packages that made it in 2 days but weren't due until 4.

I have have a FedEx Ground delivery that came in a totally different truck, and I found out that their delivery days were different (tuesday to saturday) but this is different from Express.
 
just ordered a mouse/mousepad from them early this morning. currently in the warehouse. will hopefully ship today and then get to me by friday...at least this is what i'm hoping =/
 
Never has gotten here (Central NY) 'til full 3 days even though it often makes it to the NJ hub in one day...

I just ordered a true-touch roll up keyboard from them. Fun!

*Edit: Wow, I ordered it around 5:30 cst, and they shipped it already! Newegg Rocks!!
 
I just answered my own question about www.ebuyer.com 's shipping. I found this info on some other site that uses the same shipping method as Ebuyer.

"Want to save money, this is the way to ship. RR Donnelly picks up your packages at our warehouse, takes them to their distribution center (less than a mile from us) and consolidates your shipments with thousands of other. The packages then go by truck to the nearest BMC, SCF or DDU (Post Office), they are then handed over to the post office as Standard A or B mail with optional deliver confirmation and delivered to your customer within 48 hours. Our test have show that delivery from the West Coast to the East Coast take an average of one day longer than UPS and Saves lot's of money (depending on weight as much as $2.00 per package)"
 
I ordered from Newegg using Express Saver. It arrived in my city at 8:15 this morning (2 days after I ordered my product). The Fedex website said "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" at 8:19 so I expected it to get here around lunch. I waited all day and this afternoon at 4:30 it says "Package not due for delivery" "Package in FedEx location". So I guess it will be here tomarrow. ghey 🙁
 
Well, I ordered from Newegg again today. Had to do it with a personal check, because my parents don't have a CC; therefore, it takes longer due to me having to mail out the check and wait for it to be processed (which usually takes 3 days to get there and another 2 for them to process it).

This time I picked the 2 day shipping, because it only added $4 onto my slightly-over-US$200 order. Now it will just be a matter of waiting to see how quick the package comes this time. 🙂
