No question it's a good value if you get a working unit. Newegg has lots of good reviews and lots of DOAs. Seems risky, but for that price, might be worth the risk? Can always RMA and EVGA is decent with that, even for an item with a rebate. Still, too risky for my taste.

Actually bought this PSU for my cousin's rig. Running a 4770k@ 4ghz/16gb RAM/7870 Tahiti LE and works well, good stable rails.

Thats a great price. I purchased this PSU locally 3-4 months back for ~$75 when I decided to crossfire my 7870's. So far so good, been running my rig in the sig below like a champ

O yeah my bad, I see it in the SS deal list now :$

Starts at 6 PM EST.

Will probably buy it so I can throw my RMA TR2 or refurb RMA TX 750 in the can.

That's a great price and I love my eVGA 500b which currently flawlessly runs two 7870s and an OCed 3570k in a mining PC!

Yeah I getting one and setting up another 2 card rig.

I will be up to 5900khs once the cards come.

Thx for the deal. It is going to save me $30 from my other PSU purchase. :)

Also...FYI: This is C6 and C7 states ready for the Haswell Idle state power. Important for us who are building HTPC. :)

Indeed. This really is key. I've actaully had to swap out an old Corsair from a new Haswell HTPC because it was having issues with this.

Should I at all be worried about this unit having 4 12v rails? I want to use at least 2-3 GPUs with it.... :hmm:

2 gpis with it not 3. use 2 rails per gpu.

I am going to build a 2x r9 280x mining rig with this .
it will work fine with the 280x units.

I was planning of running 2x7850s and 1x5870 on it. Or, I might just pop the crappy refurb TX 750 in there and use the eVGA modular PSU in my main rig with a 7950 and 7970... I'm starting to think that might be a much better route.

In for one. Don't really need it, but might as well replace one of the crap PSUs and keep my high end cards safe. It was too good to pass up at $50 MIR, especially considering it is (semi) modular.
