well I got my 2100+ tonight and the package was in excellent shape, the cpu was placed on a foam pad then in a clear plastic snap box and wrapped in heavy bubble wrap and of course the Fedex cardboard box......the great news is its an AXDA2100DUT3C AIUB which I hear is better for O/C ing...........I'll plop it in my KT-7 board tonight

after some futzing with it its running at 1.8 ghz which 2200+ I got it to boot at 2.3ghz ! but not enough cooling to keep it there......

I couldn't stand it anymore and picked up a 2100+ last night around 4PM EST. In typical Newegg fashion, they had it out to me that same day. They absolutely rock. :) Can't wait to see what the luck of the draw gets me. 2 gig and over, here I come!! :D

I plan on using an SK6 on this puppy. Any thoughts?

seems like the 0248 0249's are doing well...

What HSF are you using again? Try dropping the voltage a bit to see if that reduces the heat output.

I picked up the 2100+ B from them and it too is a 0301, and mine runs flawlessly even with Prime95 at 166x13 2158MHz @ 1.7V. My 8k3a+ is having issues though since I flashed it with the latest BIOS... so I'm waiting for a new mobo, but in the meantime, my CPU seems to run fine. I've booted up at 2.4Ghz, but isn't was too stable. I have some Mushkin 3000 DDR if that helps.

okay...

i'm having some temp issues now...

i have a thermalright slk-800 with the TT smart fan 2

at full load, this thing is hitting 49C @ only 1.775V

i WAS using a taisol with the copper insert
and at full load my cpu temp only hit 51C @ 1.875V

it's a whole .1V lower and my temp is so high...

is it also cuz i'm running at a higher speed?

the 1700+ i was using with the taisol hit 1950 mhz

the 2100+ i am using now with the slk-800 is up to 2125 mhz

Maybe your smart fan 2 is running at too low an RPM? Try using the rheostat to set it at the max 4800rpm and see if the temp improves.

I'm using the SLK-800 with a 48cfm YSTech fan and I'm getting 45C @1.85V with the case closed (39C@1.85V with case open.)

and i've figured out the most stable is 11.5 x 183 = 2116 according to wcpuid....

oh well! i'll see if i can push this farther once i get my antec true power 430W :)

this one is running 2188mhz cant find a way of getting it higher yet. so i am going to run toast and other stress programs to see if it will help it go a bit further. temps under full load with toast is at 42 c

42 ain't bad considering that mine idles at 42 :)

yeah keep trying, maybe we were unlucky and got some "broke" ones.... (not really broke considering that it's running at 2600+ speeds).... you know what i mean :)
