Last week I RMA'd the PSU in the refurb Antec PP660B case I bought about a month ago back to newegg. They told me that since its a refurb, they wouldn't be able to guarantee that they would have a refurb True330 PSU in stock when they processed my RMA, so they would have to send me a refund for the value of the PSU instead. I figured I would either have to spend another $20-30 over the amount of refund on a brand new PSU or take my chances on another refurb PSU. So what was delivered to my door this morning? A BRAND NEW in the shrink wrap Antec True Power 330w PSU! Totally free! If that's not awesome customer service, I don't know what is! The PSU even came with a power cord, after they already credited me $10 off the original purchase since the case didn't have a power cord when I got it. So for $67 I got a refurb Antec PP660B case and a brand new True330 PSU!

If anyone wants AMD merchandise, I can get it.

I only live about 10 minutes from AMD. And I know where their giftshop is. It may take a while cuz I would have to ask a friend to get the stuff. (they dont allow just anybody into the buildings).

Off the top of my head. I remember pens, a few shirts, and other trinket type stuff in their gift shop.

I'm getting so lazy...whenever I go on Pricewatch Newegg is not the cheapest, but usually one of the first few, so recently I haven't even been looking, just buying immediately from them cause I know the shipping is fast and the customer service is good.

Yes they do. I just ordered about $1,000 in parts for a new main computer. I live in Michigan and it all came from Cali. in 3 days (morning of the 3rd day, no less) via Fed EX Saver for around $20 bucks. That's some fast shipping for the price!

Is it just me or have we seen a 'newegg rocks' thread every week for about 2 years now?

I ordered some Arctic Silver-3 last friday night. I got the package on Wednesday which shocked me because I know they don't do orders on the weekend's and I live in Ohio. I know have newegg.com in my favorites list.

They use low price, good service, wide range of products to dominate the online mail order business, make many other small online mail order companies with higher price, worse service, fewer products out of business.

Yes, I hate Newegg but I do buy from Newegg too.

I never understood why people claim a company is the best when they get something free. The only experience that is good is when something is free...that's lame IMO. Guess that's because I'm in retail and see so much crap with ppl trying to rip us off.

I have to agree. I use Newegg as well as a few other online vendors and am happy with them but I expect my vendors to treat me properly. Just cause a company does what they are supposed to, I don't see the reason to jump up and down. Guess people are just used to being ripped off or something.

I'm just speaking in general terms about all of the praise Newegg threads that pop up. That they sent the orignal poster a new supply when he paid for a refurb is cool.

Yes Newegg knows how business should be done. Some businesses just never get it. You screw your customers and you will have no customers. You treat your customers like they are what sustains you and you will have a happy robust customer base simple as that.

<----- Victim of California sales tax. :(

I would have bought my entire new rig from them if California is not charging an arm for sales tax. It just doesn't sound right to pay over $100 sales tax when you buy stuff via internet.
