Glad to hear the goodies are arriving! Now it's time to go get mo'! Da man told me yesterday he's got some VERY cool new goodies for the rewards program. I can't give ya the details yet, but as soon as the FedEx guy drops the boxes at my do' I'll let ya know how cool they really are. He also told me that he'd work on getting some more coffee mugs per that request earlier in this thread. One of our peeps who got a DOA floppy has a couple nice surprises heading his way.
Well, if you want to relay some messages with aggravated customers, feel free to relay this one:
I order a K7S5A Pro mobo and 1800+ CPU. The board arrived, I installed it, and it wouldn't post. However, in the process, I determined it blew the CPU AND my ATI Radeon Video Card. I called in for an RMA, and Anna manually entered it into the system. I asked about cross-shipping, and was told to just reorder everything again and they would issue refunds on the RMA when they received them back. I had the funds available, so i went ahead and reordered everything, this time option to pay for overnight shpping since I was dead in the water. Received the new board and CPU, and this time everything would post, but my hard drive data was corrupted. I had to fdisk and reinstall, but while trying to reinstall, XP kept showing two 8GB drives (instead of the 40GB and 16GB they are) and failed during install. I also found that every time I attempted to just fdisk and create a directory on the drives, the data instantly corrupted. Okay, bad IDE Controller. I filled out the online RMA, then followed up with a phone call. Told I would get a refunbd on the 2nd mobo when received, and I should just reorder the 3rd board (different mfr) and they waived the overnight shipping for the Shuttle board.
Received the Shuttle board, got up and running, and everything was great. I ordered a new video card from them, and got that with no problem. The RMAs were received for the CPU and 2 mobos. I check online for my RMA status a few days ago, and found the CPu was set for refund but 2 mobos were in process of being picked from the warehouse for ship. I called again, and got the orders voided and was advised I would get refunds for the 2 mobos, also. Checked my email, and had confirmation mails advising the orders were cancelled and I should get the refunds.
Yesterday, I received 2 boxes from FedEx: guess what they were? 2 ECS mobos. I look online at my account, and the orders that were voided still show voided, but I suddenly have new orders created the same day I called, but later in the evening. Now I'm going to have to ship these back at my expense (although it was not due to any fault of my own) AND wait even longer for my money to be refunded. Not a happy customer any longer
