I purchased an Operating System and MS Office from Newegg. The packages are unopened. Can I return these? I tried to get an RMA # from the website but it isn't offering one. Is there a different way to return OS/software than hardware?

Give them a call. Newegg.com has great customer service. I couldn't tell you, but if you haven't even opened them I can almost guarantee they'll take them back. I bought my computer parts and put mine together from Newegg.com. Just give them a buzz and I'm sure they'll help you out.

They might not if the license keys are visible through the shrinkwrap, since you could have used them without opening the wrap.

CrimsonChaos,

If you purchased the OEM version of this OS, the product arrived in a yellow envelope. If this envelope is still sealed and it has not been more than 30 days from the invoice date, we might be able to make the exception and process the refund.

For better assistance, please send us a PM with your Sales Order Number (SO#) included.

Hope to hear from you soon!
